We have been commissioned by the guardianship and it has been approved by the court to offer the property at absolute auction.  Ms. Thelma Boyce 96 years young has been in assisted living since December 2009 and has requested her home be sold at public auction.  

 

This older 1.5 story home on Harrison Avenue offers, 2 bedrooms 1 bath on the main level and the second floor has been converted into 1 bedroom apartment.  The home has a full unfinished basement suitable for storage and laundry, the home has central heat & air conditioning.  This home is within walking distance to old downtown Clarksville, the river walk, convenience store and other points of interest.  The apartment is currently rented for $300 per month and the tenant wishes to remain.  The property is on seperate electric meters but shared water, and gas utilities between the 2 premises. 

 

Personal Property:  We have been uncovering new discoveries everyday; including but not limited to a few pieces of orange Fiestaware (3 pieces), some Roseville, Zimmerman hand-blown glass, Bavaria train pieces, Wagner ware, an old mantle clock, Kentucky Derby glasses, a Regulator clock, iron & aluminum ware, Noritake china, Homer-Laughlin, salt & pepper shakers, several Colgate bowling trophies, 1937 floodphoto of Colgate, colored glass, crocks, costume jewelry, vintage gas cooking stove, old bottles & jars, old coins, old currency, Silver Certificates, foriegn currency, a Savage model 1903 w/missing clip, Cast Iron dog boot scraper, cast iron Bull Dog, garden plow, lawn equipment, electric mower, old tools and much more.  There will also be an antique dresser, a maple kitchen set, a corner cabinet, bedroom furniture, end tables, and other furniture items.  Please check back from time to time to see what we have uncovered.   All items will be sold as -is with no warranty, refunds or exchanges, Cash, Visa, & MasterCard, are the only forms of payment accepted on the personal property.    No sales tax & NO BUYER's Premium.

 

Auction Items 

 

Real Estate Terms:  There will be a $5,000 non-refundable down payment made at time of auction. Cash, cashier’s check or a good local personal check, with a bank letter of guaranteed credit addressed to the auction company, must be presented to the auction company before the bidding process begins.  Balance of the final purchase price must be presented at closing within 30 days from the day of auction.
