When would be the best time to sell real estate at auction?



The maximum results in any property's selling potential would be best obtained if the property was offered first to the public at auction.

Offering real estate at auction after extensive marketing exposure through a real estate company or by a ‘For Sale by Owner’ FSBO could have an adverse affect on your overall objective. If selling in a timely manner is your objective don't list your property with an ordinary real estate company. You might want to consider Auction as your first option. With auction you can establish a specific selling price, a specific sale date, and a specific closing date. None of these can be established through a real estate agency. Besides property offered at auction first generally obtain the highest or best in market values. These values usually exceed seller expectations and in most cases professional estimates of value.

Only true market value can be obtained through open competitive bidding, which no other service industry can offer.
